Age limit
Candidate age limit should be maximum age limit 35 years and for Backward Class Candidates should have Maximum Age Limit 40 years.
Education Qualification
Only Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Police, Constables, Police Naiks, and Police Peons employed by the Maharashtra government’s Home Department would be eligible to take the exam. Candidates who have graduated from any branch of a recognised university must serve for four years on a regular basis.

Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary of Rs. 38600 to Rs. 122800/- per month from the respective board. Plus dearness allowance and other allowances payable as per rules.

MPSC PSI Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
The selection will be based on the Pre-examination 100 marks, Main examination – 200 marks and Physical test 100 marks. The purpose of the pre-examination is to keep the number of candidates admitted to the main examination within the prescribed limits. Candidates who achieve a pre-examination score of at least or equal to the Commission’s minimum criterion are considered eligible for admission to the main test.

For Preliminary Exam: The preliminary examination fee charged for general category Rs 544 and backward candidates Rs 344.
For Mains Exam: The mains exam fee Rs 844 for general category and backward candidates Rs 544.
