✅ Selection Process Punjab and Haryana High Court Clerk

The Selection Process for Punjab Haryana High Court Clerk Recruitment consists of the following Two Stages:-

  • Written Examination (100 Marks)
  • CPT/ Typing Test (Qualifying)

✅ Written Exam Pattern
Part-A (Objective Type)
General Knowledge 50 Questions/ 50 Marks
English Language 20 Questions/ 20 Marks
For every wrong answer in Multiple Choice Questions, 0.25 mark will be deducted (1/4th Negative Marking)
Part-B (SUBJECTIVE TYPE)
An Essay of 150 Words 10 Marks
A Letter in English 5 Marks
Précis 5 Marks
Translation from Hindi to English 10 Marks
Toral Marks (Par A+ Part B) 100

✅ CPT/ Typing Test Pattern
Computer Proficiency Test will consist of Word Processing and Spreadsheet, both of which will be of qualifying nature

 

  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheet
Word Processing/ Typing Test:- In the Word Processing part of Test, candidates will be provided with a passage of 600- 700 words printed on a paper and the candidates will have to type the same on the computer in specially programmed software. Candidates will be required to type as many words as possible in the duration of 10 minutes. The required minimum typing speed to qualify the Typing Test is 30 W.P.M.

 

  • Typing Speed will be calculated by using the following formula:-
  • No. of words typed- Mistakes/ 10
Spreadsheet Test:- In the Spreadsheet part of the Test, 5 questions of MS EXCEL will be asked comprising 2 marks each. The candidates will be required to solve these questions in the MS EXCEL 2007/2010 office version within the duration of 10 minutes.
